Medical Spa Laws in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is one of the strictest states for medspa regulation, enforcing strong Corporate Practice of Medicine rules and prohibiting RN injection entirely. Only physicians, NPs, and PAs may inject, and only under physician supervision. Non-physician ownership is not permitted; the practice must be physician-owned or controlled via an MSO structure with physician authority. In-person good-faith exams are mandatory, and telehealth is not an option for initial evaluations.
